Do you feel attached, that you know what you want, or even do what you need to do to get there but it doesn’t happen?

That invisible thing that keeps you from realizing what you’re planning to do is your limiting beliefs. Belief is the belief that something is true or possible. It comes from what we have learned, from our past, and the reason we chose to believe in this belief is safety and protection.

You stop growing up as people when you allow yourself to be guided by your limiting beliefs. Changing these beliefs is essential to reach your full potential.

There are many limiting beliefs that prevent you from creating your life. These beliefs manifest from negative thinking.

Negativity is often a product of depression or insecurity. It can stem from illness, life events, personality problems, and substance abuse.

When we are convinced that it is not possible or that it is not for us, we will subconsciously arrange for it not to work. Negative thinking can be the main contribution to problems such as social anxiety, depression, stress, and low self-esteem, and just like anything in life negativity can turn to a habit.

A belief comes from an experience that we had,  to which we draw a conclusion to ensure that it doesn’t happen again, to protect us; the problem is that a belief can generalize and extend to all kinds of experiences that really have nothing to do with the former, and that’s when it becomes limiting. This limiting belief is based on fear of failure. 

We also determine what we mean by things. It’s about how we relate things to each other. 

This limiting belief is nothing more than a continuous manifestation of anger, resentment, and even hatred. If being able to identify your limiting beliefs can help you correct them at the same time, learning to overcome them takes time and practice.

Using positive affirmations is the best way to get rid of limiting beliefs. Affirmations are phrases that you repeat to yourself in order to strengthen your self-confidence. 

Make positive statements to turn your limiting beliefs into positive ones.

Everyone has limiting beliefs at one time or another, so if this happens to you, remember that you are not alone. The important thing is not to completely eliminate limiting beliefs, but to learn to overcome them and focus on the positive.
